Robert C. Lee III, CFA, CHP
Chief Investment Officer
Robert C. Lee III is Chief Investment Officer and a Managing Member of Windmuehle, LLC. He has over 15 years of experience managing alternative investment portfolios.
Robert has vetted, structured, and managed hundreds of private fund investments, with a focus on new and emerging hedge funds as well as hybrid private investment structures. Client portfolios have included banks, insurance companies, high net worth individuals, public pension plans, index funds, and university endowments. Robert received two Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Texas State University. He also received Master’s degrees in Econometrics and International Economics from the University of Konstanz in Germany.
Melissa Anderson, CPA, CAIA
Chief Operating Officer
Melissa Anderson is the Chief Operating Officer of Windmuehle, LLC. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Her career has focused on operational due diligence, middle and back-office activities for various investment strategies and fund structures. Before joining Windmuehle, LLC., Melissa was the founder of Bull Creek Financial Services providing consulting services to private equity, hedge funds and family offices. Melissa has also held positions as Principal and COO of Meritage Capital, L.P., Treasury Controller at Dell Technologies and as a family office executive. Melissa serves on the Board of Trustees of Southwestern University, the Investment Committee of the Diocese of Austin, and is a member of the Young Men’s Service League. Melissa received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern University.
Melissa Santaniello
Manager
Melissa Santaniello is a Manager at Windmuehle, LLC. Previously, Melissa spent seven years as the Director of Manager Research at Tiedemann, where she focused on manager sourcing and investment due diligence on hedge fund and private investment opportunities.
In addition, she is the founder and a Board Member of the Alignment of Interests Association (AOI), an LP-only non-profit investor think tank dedicated to alternatives investing. Prior to Tiedemann, Melissa worked at Plural Investments and Cadogan Management. She started her career on the sell-side as a research analyst covering the TMT sector and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
Jason C. Schubert, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Jason C. Schubert is Chief Financial Officer of Windmuehle, LLC. He has 18 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Before joining Windmuehle, LLC, Jason was CFO & COO for a single family office where he was responsible for all financial and operational matters, as well as operational due diligence on alternative investment activities. He also held CFO & CCO positions at a fund-of-funds, and manager positions in two public companies. Jason received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a dedicated mentor through Communities in Schools and is on the Advisory Board of the Neighborhood Longhorns Program.
